Arun became a follower of Jesus Christ during a visit to Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale in August 2001. God used Jose, a Haitian friend to lead him to Christ. With Jose and other friends, Arun started visiting Haiti since 2002 in many short-term missionary trips to Haiti and finally decided to move to Haiti and serve permanently in 2006. Due to some personal reasons, he had to move back to the US after living in Haiti for a year.
Since moving back from Haiti, he continued to help the Haitian community through various programs. In August of 2008, Arun and Jose decided to create Gospel Haiti.
Arun and his wife Marie-Anne currently live in Frederick, Maryland. He is a Math teacher at a Frederick County schools. God willing, both Arun and Marie-Anne intend to go back to Haiti and serve as missionaries.

Jose is a native of Haiti. He is thankful to God for his parents for showing him early on that his purpose in life was to glorify God. He grew up in Haiti and south Florida where he met his wonderful wife while in college.
Jose, his wife (Nohemie), and his son (Junior) live in Chicago. Prior to moving to Chicago he lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL for ten years and attended Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale where he also attended Bible school and met a friend, a fellow classmate (Edy), who encouraged him to get involved in missionary work in Haiti. It has been quite a blessing to partner with Edy and other missionary friends in Haiti through short-term trips, fellowship, prayer and much more. Every mission trip has been a learning experience and an opportunity for spiritual growth.
He is currently a school administrator for the Chicago Public Schools and also serves as an Adjunct Professor at National-Louis University.
His ultimate goal in life is to glorify God in everything. Some of his favorite Bible verses are:
Romans 8:28 (NASB) And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Philippians 1:6 (NASB) For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Jim grew up in a small town in Western Pennsylvania in a Christian home. But although his parents faithfully shared Jesus Christ with him from a young age, it was not until age 19 that the Spirit of God brought him to faith in Christ. Since that time, God has set on Jim a love for God’s word, his people, and the lost around the world. Jim lives with his wife Lois in Frederick, MD where they attend Sovereign Grace Church. Jim’s involvement with Gospel Haiti began in 2009 through the friendship of Arun and his wife Marie-Anne. Jim currently teaches youth with special needs in Montgomery County, MD.

Marie-Anne spent one year in Haiti serving with a swiss missionary (Francine) who had opened a school and a boarding school there. She was really impressed both by the perseverance of the Christians there and by the hard conditions of living. She left the country with a deep desire to keep on helping the people she had met. In 2006, she met Arun and they eventually got married.
